What is metal spinning?

In short, metal spinning is a method of transforming a metal blank (disc or tube) into a symmetrical product by spinning and machining it at high speed on a lathe.

The metal workpiece is clamped between the formed spinning mandrel and the tailstock of the spinning machine and then spun by means of a drive. The workpiece and mandrel rotate together and the spinning roll comes into contact with the outside. The rolls gradually form the material into the desired shape through a series of CNC programmed passes.
