Several issues needing attention in the design of CNC spinning machine

In recent years, CNC spinning machines have developed rapidly in China. More and more companies in the Guangdong Pearl River Delta have begun to develop and manufacture spinning machines. The main application area is processing of light spinning products such as lighting and shades. The spinning processing force is not required. The general structural design can meet the needs of customers. When the thickness of the processed metal material is more than 1.5mm stainless steel or iron more than 2mm, the design of the spinning machine needs to consider the rigidity of the structure.

 

I. Spindle torque

When the power of the spindle motor is too small or the spindle motor has not been decelerated and increased in distance, the mold lockup may easily occur when the spinning mold is too large. At this time, you need to increase the power of the spindle motor or design a reduction mechanism to increase the distance. In addition, the main shaft is the main power source of the spinning machine. When the base of the main shaft is not rigid, it is easy to generate vibration and easily affect the surface texture of the spinning product.

 

II.X, Z axis motor

X and Z axis motors mainly drive the movement of the tool post and provide the cutter wheel force. When the torque of the screw is insufficient, it is necessary to reduce the distance and increase the distance. A reducer is added to the motor.

 

III. the casting design

The casting design is an important part of the spinning machine. The general structure of the X axis is a cantilever structure, and the ribs need to be designed where the sliding tables of the X and Z axes are connected. The X axis is not easy to design too long, and the machine is prone to vibration.
