CNC machining is currently the most widely used machining method and is also a basic skill that every machinist must master. After startup, set the workpiece clamping, number of workpiece contacts, prepare tools and machining parameters, and start the machining process. What issues should we pay attention to in this link?

1. Tool and feed rate
Before starting each program, all tools must be carefully checked to ensure that all tools are consistent with those specified in the programming instructions. At the beginning of processing, the feed speed needs to be adjusted to the minimum, and the methods of single-stage execution, rapid positioning and tool drop should be adopted. When cutting, you must concentrate and keep your hand on the stop button. If a problem is discovered, it must be stopped immediately. During the machining process, pay attention to the direction of the tool movement to ensure safe feeding of the tool, and then slowly increase the feed speed until it reaches the appropriate value. At the same time, coolant or cold air should be added to the tool and workpiece to reduce the cutting temperature.
2. Matters needing attention in rough machining
When starting rough machining of workpieces, the operator should not be too far away from the control panel to ensure that the machine can be shut down for inspection in the event of any abnormality. After rough opening, pull the gauge again to ensure that the workpiece is not loose. If so, the workpiece must be corrected and touched again. During the processing process, the processing parameters should be continuously optimized according to the processing conditions to obtain the best results.
Because rough machining is a very critical process, after machining, measure whether the main dimensional values meet the drawing requirements. After self-inspection, it can be disassembled and must be sent to the inspector for special inspection.
3. Direct preventive measures for CNC operations
Before DNC machining, the workpiece is clamped, the part is set, and then the processing parameters are set. Open the processing program that requires data transfer processing in the computer to check, then let the computer enter the DNC state, and enter the file name of the correct processing program. Next, press the "TAPE" key and the program start key on the machine tool, and a flashing "LSK" will appear on the machine tool controller. At this point, the DNC data can be processed by pressing the Enter key on the computer
